God Remembers Us

Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake.
When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified.
‘It’s a ghost,’ they said, and cried out in fear.

But Jesus immediately said to them:
‘Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.’

Matthew 14:25-27

We will experience danger and storms in our lives. Rather than escaping difficulties, Christians are far more likely to experience storms than those who don’t venture far from shore.

The good news is that even in the storm we are not alone. If I know the one who can calm the seas, he can calm even me.
